Get this if you need to do video editing or light rendering work while on the go. I recently bought this device based off the earlier WC article alerting on the summer deal they had going. However, two big missing features from this device that you would assume are there but are not and that @Zac Bowden does not highlight in the review:

If the apps you use aren't 64-bit only, then you shouldn't rule out the Surface Pro X. The tablet's SQ1 chip gives it built-in LTE connectivity and should enable long battery life. We'll have to wait for a review unit to see how Microsoft's performance claims hold up. If it can go toe-to-toe with Intel's latest 10th Gen CPUs, then the Surface Pro X might be the best Windows tablet for most people. If it can't, then it doesn't really matter which apps the Surface Pro X can run if it doesn't have the performance to do so in the first place.Microphone quality is also good, and I had no complaints from anyone listening to me in audio calls for example. The real let down comes in the form of audio quality, which is, frankly, abysmal. Stability: If you’re using your tablet for activities other than reading and watching videos, make sure the stand is stable enough to withstand frequent tapping without wobbling.

So, should you get the Xiaomi Book S 12.4? Probably not. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Book S. It’s a cool tablet with good built quality, a pretty screen, a solid pen, and features like facial recognition. The keyboard cover is not perfect but fine too and I enjoyed working with it. Battery life on the Surface Pro 9 can depend on the tasks you're doing. It should get you through a workday with ease, however, thanks to the 12th Gen Intel processors that are much more battery efficient in routine tasks. It also has two Thunderbolt 4 enabled USB-C ports, meaning you can charge either with Microsoft's proprietary Surface Connect port or through USB-C. It supports fast charging too!When you’re multitasking a lot and especially when x86 programs are among them, the tablet can lag quite heavily. For instance, when watching a YouTube video in Chrome, using Edge, Office, and Word at the same time and also having Lightroom open, and then when switching between them, there can be quite some lag. With an Android tablet or iPad, you usually won’t be using that many apps at the same time but you certainly would with a desktop PC.

There are a coupleadditional limitations you should know about ARM-based devices like the Surface Pro X beyond their inability to run 64-bit (x64) apps. Games won't run on the Surface Pro X if they use OpenGL greater than 1.1 or if they rely on "anti-cheat" drivers not made for ARM. Also, some third-party antivirus software can't be installed. The Wacom Flex Arm is designed to be better than any other display arm on the list. That being said, it allows you to mount your Cintiq Pro on your desk without facing any challenges. In fact, thanks to its reach of 30 inches, it can also be used as a free-floating monitor. Impressive, right? Xiaomi’s Smart Pen works very well. I was able to write handwritten notes in Microsoft OneNote without any issues and annotating PDFs in Drawboard PDF works great too. Windows 11 has many features for pens built-in and they all work as they should.It will sit on a desk, but probably makes more sense on a bed or on your lap or for use in bed. Sitting on the couch for a video call, the iBeani comes into its own. Around the front, we have a glorious 12.6-inch 2K AMOLED display which looks phenomenal. Colors simply pop on this screen thanks to OLED technology, and he higher 2560x1600 resolution at this screen size means you can’t distinguish between pixels at a regular usage distance. Plus, Windows renders natively at 200% here which means text and icons look amazing. Moving onto the cameras, we have a rear 13MP shooter with support for auto-focus and can shoot video in 4K. It looks great and is more than enough for filming meetings or lectures. The front facing camera is a less good 5MP shooter with 1080p video capabilities. It's fine, but it's not winning any rewards. Its squashability means you can angle the tablet’s screen as you want it, although it will move around a bit if it’s resting on you and you move about. It adds a little height and you can knead the bean bag into different angles.
