About this deal

Once in the Ranger's headquarters, first year trainees are divided into 6-people teams. The training process is harsh and competitive, and a good number of candidates will be invited to leave for being unable to keep up. They will have to go through numerous tests, measuring both individual and team performance.

A kingdom in danger, a great betrayal, a boy seeking to redeem his father's honor. Will he succeed in exonerating him and saving the realm from an enemy in the shadows before it is too late for the whole North? Will Lasgol and his friends unmask the true traitor? Will they survive the fourth year of instruction and the war and graduate as Rangers? I really liked this book! It was interesting, and the plot was unique and fascinating, and one that kept me guessing. I'm gonna jump to the characters, tho, since they were a big part, and there were a lot of them. And if you like awesome characters, and people working as a team, this book is for you.

The protagonist goes to the "ranger camp", a glorified school to learn to be a ranger ... with the goal to find out about his "traitor father" and exonerate him. And then of course he has magic powers, which he tells nobody about ... and never talks to anyone about them to learn to use them, because hey it's a ranger school, why talk to people who should know about stuff? And of course the camp healer finds out and then does tell anybody ... why? This book sounded like it had potential, but sadly it could not live up to my expectations. The English translation is alright, but not perfect. I have read worse over the years, but a little polish to remove awkward phrasing would help. Our friends will be involved in intrigues, betrayals, persecutions, murders, battles, sieges and all kinds of situations that will test their loyalty not only to their kingdom but to their friends and colleagues. Who will win in the civil war? Will the west be victorious or will it be the east? Will Lasgol and his friends survive the tribulations in which they will be involved? Will they decide the fate of Norghana with their decisions and actions?Find out while you follow fascinating adventures with a group of characters you will fall in love with. A kingdom in danger, a great betrayal, a boy seeking to redeem his father's honor. Will he succeed in exonerating him and saving the realm from an enemy in the shadows before it’s too late? Lasgol and his companions are immersed in their missions as Specialist Rangers. The situations and problems they will face are much greater than they imagined. I've been skimming a lot with the last couple of books. The author continues to write them as young, idealistic and immature in a grim, darker world...but then their not. Characters and plots are getting more inconsistent as author continues to target early teens but subplots continue to grow with mature themes. Sometimes the MC'S are naive late teens, then they're more worldly n mature and then they're just kids.

I just finished reading book two and it only gets worse. Illogical choices, not talking to people, plot holes. I will stop here.Lasgol and his partners have to overcome a tough second year at the Camp if they want to become Rangers one day. The tests are going to be much harder, and the effort required a lot greater. Rivalries are going to surface, but so will companionship, even love. He’s going to find out that he doesn’t know the entire truth about what happened to his parents, or about Camu, his new friend. New mysteries are going to pop up that he must investigate and solve. These are going to drive him to face life-and-death situations as well as ponder the possibility that the real enemy might not be the one it seems to be. Assassin's, yes assassins and 2 of the MC'S are assassins. Don't really know what to say when you're continuing to write for young teens where many still need a 'birds n bees' talk from mom or dad. Don't forget the cute and cuddly Panther n Creature. The King’s Secret” is the second novel in the “Path of the Ranger” series and was released in the year 2020. War’s broken out in the North. The Corrupt Lord of the Ice has just invaded Norghana with a host from the Frozen Continent. Are the Rangers and the King going to be able to stop him, or are they going to die trying? Viggo - Honestly, at first, Viggo kinda irked me. He was so rude at first, and I wasn't sure what to think about him. But he grew on me. He's actually a really awesome character, and he was pretty funny, too. I love him!!

Will Lasgol survive the first year of instruction at the Rangers' Camp? Will he find out what happened to his father? Will he be able to clear his name? I find this series intriguing as it has so much to offer from magic to politics to youths being trained. While it feels in some ways as a coming of age series it really has so much more. Egil - EGILLLLLLLLLL. MY BABY. To put it plainly I just love love love love love love love love love love love love (okay i think you get the idea) Egil. He is smart, sweet, cute...If I knew a guy like him irl I would legit want to marry him. HE WAS JUST SO LOVEABLE AAAAAAHHHHH I CAN'TTTT. I just loved how smart he was. And he was a great friend to Lasgol, despite the fact that Lasgol is 'the Traitor's Son'. My favorite character, for sure. Pedro Urví is a bestselling fantasy author who some years ago began to write as an experiment. Without any deliberate intention on his part, the experiment in writing turned into a novel which went on growing until eventually it evolved into a saga.

Snowdon Ranger Path – Llwybr Cwellyn

Okay, I think I covered all the Snow Panthers. There were other characters, so I could go on, but I won't. I did like the other characters, tho!!
