If you’re looking to save a little money on an AI Box and just need YouTube, Netflix or Casting from your iPhone, this might be an adapter for you. The downside is that in most vehicles, to use CarPlay and Android Auto you have to physically plug your phone in every time. That means charging the phone when you may not want to.
