And when the competition is in the same room with you, the Split-Screen mode will help you find out who the real king of the couch is. Managerial Career should return for MotoGP 23. This career mode allows players to create their own team or join a real one. You’ll manage every aspect of the team’s strategy, from bike development to hiring staff. With one notable exception, the overall gameplay is largely the same as last year in MotoGP 23. That's not a criticism, though, as MotoGP 23 is comfortably one of the best bike games in terms of both handling and graphics on the market.

Rain can start at any point, leading to all of the drivers being called into the pits. This is the very definition of throwing a spanner into the works during a race and you'll have to be very careful not to slide off the circuit. The handling definitely takes some getting used to if you've played previous MotoGP games. There's more understeer, but this helps inexperienced riders and can be largely overcome with the right setup or changing the controller settings. The biggest addition to the gameplay for MotoGP 23 is easily the dynamic weather. A lot of racing games have had this for a long time, but this is the first MotoGP game to feature dynamic weather.

While we don't see much of the game here, there is one big feature getting shown off which is dynamic weather. This will bring a whole new sense of realism to the game, and create flag-to-flag races where riders can return to the pits and switch bikes. MotoGP™23 offers a diverse range of options designed to make the game more interactive – and social as players get the chance to foster their real-life rivalries too! Cross-play*** allows players to race against each other regardless of their gaming platform, while the introduction of Ranked Racesensures fair competition by matching players with others at the same level. Additionally, the beloved 2-player local split-screen** feature makes a return, allowing friends to share a screen and compete side-by-side on the couch. It’s about time a serious motorbike racing game was released that truly was accessible. MotoGP 23 likes to think it is, but it really isn’t. The result, then, is a game that looks beautiful, has some solid new features, but will only appeal to the hardcore. And that’s a real shame.
