The Colour Monster

Maybe your kid can color it in the same colors as their favorite plush toy and imagine what they’d talk about if the toy were real! You can color this monster with any colors you want. Try using bright, cheery hues like pinks, purples and blues to make it extra fun. You could give it rainbow stripes or polka-dotted fur for a whimsical look.

Think of other emotions and choose colours that might represent them (e.g. frustration, disgust, envy). How does music make you feel? Think of different songs/styles of music that make you happy, sad, angry etc. It has fur, three horns, and a spiky tail, but it will definitely look adorable colored orange! He looks as if he’s hiding behind something, so maybe he’s playing Hide and Seek. He also has two small eyes and a big nose that help him sniff out his favorite foods. Can you think of synonyms for these words?
