About this deal

As seen in Today.com, Thrive Global, Women’s Health, PopSugar, Forbes, Elle, Bustle, Insider, The Zoe Report, Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, The Spruce, and many more.

Do you just blame this all on the universe? Convincing yourself that it is just another test you have to go through until you find the actual one? Laid out in seven simple steps – starting with “Be Clear In Your Vision”, and ending with “Trust In The Universe” – the book is full of clear, concise and accessible tips on making manifesting part of your everyday life, and the practical approach means even readers who dismiss such things as “woo-woo” might just be persuaded to reconsider. But some of the chapters in the book: Cultivate and Practise Self-Love, Embrace Gratitude and Turn Envy into Inspiration, helped me to put my emotions into perspective. But honestly, isn’t it way more fun not knowing that your soulmate is just around the corner? Rather than manifesting them and constantly waiting for them to show up?A meeting of science and wisdom, manifesting is a philosophy and a self-development practice to help you reach for your goals, cultivate self-love, and live your best life. This is an ugly moralising elitism which early Christians dismissed as ‘Pelagianism’. It makes the person solely responsible for their own outcomes (59%). So, it has the consequence of meaning that victims are essentially to blame for their bad outcomes. If victims were to just try harder with their visualising and manifesting, then they wouldn’t be suffering bad outcomes like being a victim of abuse. If they tried harder, the universe would be rewarding them by transforming their lives with manifested positivity.

I liked how this was broken down, the steps / lessons were all ones I was familiar with through my own self development journey but it was nice to see them together and I had some thought provoking moments. Before I go in heavy on what I didn’t like about this book, let’s first look at the things I did like about Manifest.I loved that Roxie (the author) took time to not only give an overview of what manifestation is in philosophical terms but also in science and physics terms, logos rlly does for me. I was someone who had a pretty wild and chaotic twenties but for the past 3 years, I have been on my own self-development journey. I’m taking better care of my well-being and grounding myself. Spread across 7 chapters, better known as “the 7 steps to living your best life”, Manifest shows us how you can harness the power of manifestation to attract anything you desire and deserve.
