About this deal

Losers is an 18+ polyamorous bisexual romance between one woman and four men, including MF, MM, and group scenes. Reader discretion is strongly advised, this is a dark read. This book contains graphic sexual scenes, intense scenes of BDSM, graphic violence, and strong language. A full content note can be found in the front matter of the book. i think that’s all i have to say for now. i need to stop being so critical of literal trashy romance books goddammit. their admiration and love towards jessica makes no damn sense to me, which makes me laugh a little annoyed laugh at each of their relationships with her, but i can see how they could authentically love each other.

I’ll be honest, I was fully expecting a storyline, similar to what we had in The Dare. Losers was just as scorching hot. Actually, that’s a woefully inadequate description. I mean, it’s one of the hottest books I’ve ever read. However, it was so much more than that. There were intense emotions, character insight, and a beguiling plot. and you know what? i was going to stop comparing the two, but The Dare gave me both. or it very nearly did. If there is one of many reasons why I enjoyed this book, it was how the four boys were a family, and you could tell they cared for each other in their own ways. They knew what each needed, and I loved how they came together with all the crap they had been with their families. What they all went through in high school, too? These boys found their family, and it was them, but now they hope Jessica will be a part of their family, too. Jessica realizes in this book how the town sees them, and now that she is hanging out with them more, she sees them as who they are, which is why it’s hard for her not to stay away. I know I wouldn’t be able to stay away from them. Except them. The freaks, the weirdos, the school's ultimate losers: Manson, Jason, Lucas, and Vincent. Our hatred for each other couldn't keep us apart, not even when my own mistake got Manson expelled and made me the ultimate villain to the rest of them. Storyline/My Thoughts: This will be a different review because I need to do this differently for once. I need to thank Harley for these books. I will never forget these characters and their storyline. They will forever live in my head, and these books will be reread many times because I know I will miss them.

I enjoyed Jess with guys but Manson and his Pup did something to me. Such a fascinating and loving relationship these two guys have.

God, I loved to watch them with her. How they pleasured her, used her, cared for her. There was something beautiful in trusting them so damn much that we could share this.” Delicately, he pressed the sharp tip of the blade against the pad of my middle finger. There was a subtle sting as my skin parted, blood welling up. He moved the knife in slow small lines and I was mesmerized by the sight. The FMC, Jess is just dealing with life, and adulthood…trying to find herself when her upbringing and social circle tells her that everything she wants and is attracted to is not okay. The boys have always been something that she couldn’t / shouldn’t have (and they have felt the same about her), but she was always attracted and drawn to them… But old peer pressures still exist even after high school! Then you have all of the boys who are dealing with their own demons. Manson is dominate…he likes to have control when it was something that he couldn’t easily have growing up with an abusive father. He struggles with anger but tries really hard not to become his father and make his family live in fear. Jason is a tech genius who has been disowned by his Uber religious parents but he just wants to life his happiest life, loving who he wants to love. Vincent comes from a loving and supportive family, but he needs to make sure his new family is taken care of… he brings love and laughter to the group. And Lucas is a freaking mess! He is so angry and untrusting. He feels like people just leave him. He was taken away from his mom and brother by his father, and his father was hard and abusive. The boys all got together and formed their own family. Jessica acts as a boost to their dynamic. The boys together were happy and making life work, but with Jessica there is a feeling of completeness that she brings to the group.

Find out how in this guide. now, i’m being so harsh, but this book is as if The Dare was taken and shook up a couple of times and then twisted around a couple of times and stretched out to the power of 3 and punched a couple of times for good measure. I was so pleasantly surprised with this book. It did take a bit for my attachment to them to grow. Let just say when it did, I grew very attached. The boys referred to as the “losers” won me over. I would give Character development a hand of applause. The audible version has very good voices for each character. Both male and female with helps me better enjoy my listening experience. Now, this book has all, and i mean all, the spicy scenes you could ever want. And if you’ve never read electrostimation, well…you are in for a treat.

Now, with college behind me, our worlds collide yet again. Four men, all willing to share me as their plaything until my debt to them is paid. Another game to satiate my dark cravings, the twisted rules of which bring us all even closer than before. But games aren’t meant to last. His hand trailed over my body, rough and hard, when he pulled up my dress and pressed himself against me. So.. I'm kind of at a loss for how to review this one. This book is outside my normal comfort zone, and not for the steamy content. I tend to shy away from books with more than 3 love interests, as I find that characters tend to get left behind in the narrative and only brought forward when their body parts are necessary for a steamy group scene. That is far from the case here.Manson, Lucas, Jason and Vincent are such a close knit group. They’re a family, trust one another and love each other. They don’t care what society thinks of them and how they live their lives. They’re secure in their sexuality. Harley gave the characters the BEST damn HEA!! She did put me through the wringer when reading Part Two. The trouble these characters had to deal with when it came to Manson’s father, and Jessica’s so-called old buddies caused havoc, too. I had a hard time putting down this book. Let’s not forget the spicy moments. Harley upped it in this book with more group scenes. Lots more. Cold showers may be needed to cool off from those scenes. (MM, MMF, MF, etc.) You get the idea.

the dialogue was especially hard to ignore, and maybe i’m wrong about this, but shouldn’t a book that has little to no other plot be able to contain realistic or, at the very least, passable dialogue? This book blew me away! I was not expecting it. Harley Laroux is so freaking talented! I was drawn into this story with the promise of smut, but Harley is a writer of Dark Romance and Erotica. They enjoy crafting steamy stories on the dark and kinky side, the creepier the better. Harley lives in Washington with their husband and three cats. They love horror films, dry red wines, and almost always have a candle lit. Most days they can be found at their desk drinking tea with at least one cat on their lap.

Lucas (H) is one I have a real soft spot for. He's the one I disliked the most at first, but his strong relationship with Manson is EVERYTHING and he has his moments when you're like aw. He also liked being called a "good boy"...just saying... I already adored ‘Daddy’ Manson (or Master Manson 😉) from The Dare. He stole me even more, especially with the scenes between him and Lucas. I love those two together. They are perfect for each other because they know what they both need. Manson will always be my number one, but he may be tied with Lucas now. I have missed Manson and dove into this book for him but ended up loving all of them, especially Lucas. Manson, Lucas, Jason, and Vincent. A self-made family with each so much love to give.
