It offers simplified insertion of single wires for stripping using location ridges, easy insertion of coax and data cable thanks to spring opening aid. Its multi-component design with a soft plastic zone allows for comfortable use and a secure grip. The housing is made from stable glass fibre reinforced plastic.

Adjustable stripper - self-adjusting stripper with the ability to crimp, strip and snip wires. Designed with precision and made to last. The KNIPEX range includes hand tools for various occasions. Of course, the main focus is still on pliers. Nevertheless, it is sometimes useful to have the right screwdriver or knife for the respective work area in the tool assortment. So we go to 1.5 and then we strip it. It's that easy. You don't want to use flex, that's fine. A bit of FP. Same thing, put it on, twist it round and strip it. Done, easy. Bit of five core. one mil five core I think. Easy. A bit of four core. You snap. It helps if it's not really cheap coax, but it does work. Lets use the stripper again as that's what it's used for. Find the knife, cut it and strip it. I've used this before and it worked perfectly the first time with no issues whatsoever. It achieves good clean and accurate cuts, though will have a tendency to lightly score the inner cable sheath if you are over zealous with pressure when rotating.

Key points faster than conventional SWA stripping methods armour is scored to a uniform depth for a clean break off and trouble free gland connection automatic cable clamp provides constant pressure, making retightening a thing of the past The new C.K armourslice ‘strips away the hassle’ of preparing SWA cable for electricians, allowing the job to be done up to 50% faster compared with traditional methods, and ensures a perfect cut eveytime, includes free utility blade. All right guys, just a little review on a KNIPEX ErgoStrip. I find this tool very handy in the right circumstances. Everybody's seen these automated strippers, they're good, everybody knows the concept. They work, squeeze it, strips the cable. Great. They're alright with three core, but the moment you go anything bigger, like this four core, nothing just fits in. That's when I tend to find these little KNIPEX ErgoStrippers are brilliant. They have al the holes down the side for small cable, a tool for ringing cable, splitter, and then they've got a little one for Coaxial cable. All you do is, there's a little clip on the side, push it, open the spring load mechanism, put in your cable and twist it and snap it. Now, when you have a long one like this as well it's very useful, because on the side of this there is a little blade. You can just run it down the edge, close it, clamp it, apply a bit of pressure, run it down, and it just peels that cable off very, very nice for you. And then we just pull off. Oh, get in there. My fingers are a little fiddly today. See, it comes off nice and easy, ready to go in to your main switch. It is ergonomic, literally in the name, so comfortable to use for extended periods. Will get into the deeper recesses of a box for stripping round cables in a variety of sizes, than other stripping tools. But you can get the left handed version, to match your left handed hammer. And your left handed chisel. Left handed brush. Left handed screwdriver. And left handed pen. But for now, lets show you how the right handed version works. Hi, my name's Neil Gargaro from Routley & Lemon Electrical Contractors, and we're going to be taking a look today at the KNIPEX ErgoStrip.
