About this deal

This Islamic celebration is of the birth of the prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). This is celebrated in the third month of the Islamic calendar. Poetry and songs were often performed to the crowds. Most Muslims approve of this celebration but there are some who believe it to be an illicit religious innovation. Countries such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar no longer celebrate Mawlid al-Nabi al-Sharif. Themes that are often present in Islamic art include; religion, ornament (in the form of animals or humans), interconnections between trade, diplomacy and culture and technical innovation. The camel was tied to a post, hot and thirsty in the baking heat. Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) felt sorry for the camel as he saw tears streaming down its cheeks. He stroked the camel and it became calmer. Gradually, the camel’s howls turned to grunts, and then from grunts to snorts of pleasure. The camel stopped crying as he knew that Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was his friend. To compensate for this frailty, God has sent prophets to communicate His will. These prophets, all mortal humans, were elected messengers to whom God spoke through an angel or by inspiration. Unfortunately for humankind, most of the prophets have been ignored. People, deluded by Satan, or the Devil, continued to disbelieve in Allah. In spite of this, God is always ready to pardon individuals and restore them to the sinless state in which they started life.

Allah" is simply the Arabic word for God. He is the same universal God worshipped by people of all faiths. The word "Allah" is sometimes preferred over God because it is neither masculine nor feminine. Also, there is no plural for "Allah." What do Muslims believe? The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was walking in one of the gardens. He took shelter from the heat and thought quietly as he walked, smiling at people he knew as he passed them. Here we can see the parts of the Qur'an that Muslims have interpreted as the principle of hijab. We know that those who follow the Muslim faith follow these commands from their holy book by covering up certain areas of their bodies in particular situations, depending on who they hold company with.
