The gin tour will start with a history of gin, an introduction into gin stills and three tasters of our very own Ginsmiths of Liverpool gin. After your gin tour you can enjoy a Sunday roast in our brewery taproom.

Part one – make the coffee liqueur: add the sugar and water to a pan, heat and stir until all the sugar has dissolved. Add coffee granules, approx. 25g, and vanilla (add around a tablespoon if you like the flavour of vanilla). Pour coffee syrup into a jug to cool to room temperature, then put into a Kilner jar and add the vodka. Mix and leave somewhere cool and dark to infuse overnight. We have to start with the OG right? This one put local premium gins on the map, and we must thank them for it. It’s beautiful in its original form but comes in a variety of flavours such as lemongrass and rose petals but the real hero in the stall is the Valencian Orange. While so many gins combine several fruits or flavours, Liverpool Gin likes to go in strong with one banging hero flavour and does it well. Let’s be honest, everybody loves gin, whatever the weather, it’s always a refreshing tipple choice after a long day. With Valentine’s Day approaching, the Pinkster and Mermaid pink gin could be perfect gift options if your significant other likes a gin.

It’s pink gin but not as you know it – instead of the more obvious berries they’ve chosen roses for their colour and sweetness. It’s as sophisticated as our glorious waterfront. Everything about the bottle felt luxurious, special, something definitely gift worthy for a special occasion. They say Gin is one of the healthiest drinks with the least amount of calories, making it perfect for your January diet! I love the look of this bar,beautifully furnished and decorated tastefully throughout,there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside, a great bar indeed.

So, what’s the actual difference between pink gin and normal gin? Basically, pink gin contains red or pink fruits like strawberries, raspberries and red currents to give it that pink hue. We can’t have an Everton gin without a nod to its rival across the park. Another traditional gin but this time with hints of orange, elderflower and liquorice, this is the perfect addition to any red’s alcohol collection. Raise a glass to the recent Premier League champions and then have another to toast the future 7 th CL win?There were two Anfield gins released around the same time and they’re both champions. This gin with a strawberry flavour and a red colour is for those who prefer a bit of added flavour to their gin while they cheer on the red men. Created by a father and daughter team of super fans, they were determined to make a gin that the local area could be proud of and we’re positive they’ve succeeded. We really enjoyed our pale ale in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Over the river on ‘the dark side’ you’ll find the Tappers distillery who are fully committed to reviving the art of gin. Their flavours are many and their bottles are stunning (the pink gin is a must have, even if it’s just to ogle the bottle) but their most famous offerings are their Darkside gin and their Wintergreen aromatic. Just try and keep us away from the Hydropathic Pudding Summer Fruits Cup as soon as the sun comes out though!
