About this deal

Shelly Morgan has done it again! This is about Sara and Toby. Now Sara has been through a twisted abusive relationship and ran away from the guy. She meets Toby by going to a gym for a class in self defense and the rest they say is history. Toby helps her realize what love really is along with Dani being there for her as a friend as well as the rest of the club. This is an emotional book that I highly recommend Biker romances are not my usual read and I haven’t read the first book in this series but the story-line made me curious and I am glad I decided to read it. This is a hard hitting story with graphic sex and violence but both are integral to the plot and characters. The story wouldn’t be as powerful without them. The information about the MC enhanced the setting and added to the characters’ authenticity. Aria: *at some point, goes to Knox's library and sees pieces of stuff from Norvalla, one of the Nine Realms that Aria really feels a connection to. (did you guess that her father is from Norvalla and so is Knox?)* Chimera: After this weapon fires, equipped Kinetic and Power weapons gain a brief period of increased handling and accuracy.

This was a 4 star read for most of the book but there were elements of it that I didn't sit well with me, hence 3 stars. Knox, our main male character is a dark character, a monster in a human body, arrogant, self-centered, and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty if that means achieving his goal. I should have known I wasn't going to like this when I read the cringey "Warning" at the start of the book: Those are the flames of your chaos, Aria. You could set the entire world on fire if you chose to do so."Universal Television Enterprises, Inc., under exclusive license to Varese Sarabande Records FAQs for Fighting Destiny When was Fighting Destiny released? I like this series, I do. The characters are entertaining but there’s something in the writing that stops me from giving this book top marks. I don’t mind the odd error (even if it is annoying) but having a character that isn’t easy to understand at times makes my head hurt. Pat had little peculiarities that singled him out as being Irish but not being Irish myself I sometimes wondered if the problem was Pat, the author or me. I really don’t like being confused when a little explanation might clear things up. I also don’t like information being repeated too often or unnecessarily. A little editing would definitely improve this book/series.

Sara is new to town; scared, penniless and in desperate need of money and a friend. After meeting Toby in less than happy circumstances, she is introduced to and then taken under the wing of Dani. The heroine of Rewriting Destiny. We meet Toby in the changing destiny and although we don't see much of him I knew I was going to like him!! Toby was very loveable throughout this story and he stole my heart instantly. I loved how he felt so strongly about Sara and didn't let anyone disrespect her! Toby is an ex-marine and now a member of the Forsaken Sinners MC. He does some underground fighting to bulk up his wallet at times and he has his jobs for the mc. In his spare time he helps his mentor and trainer out at his gym. At night he usually hangs around the club with his MC brothers and drinks and parties with the club girls. Since he has seen his best friend, Dani, with her old man Blaze he has gotten bored with partying and has thought about finding more. Welcome to Paranormal Romance! However, there's no denying they are attracted to each other, but lust does not equal love. It’s an amazing, fast paced story of Cynthia who thinks she is a witch finding herself along the way and doing so with a alpha Fae prince Ryder taking her along on an exciting trip of who done it situation and who is who thrilling book. I’m loving this BUT it ends here and they are many books in the series with only this first one on Audible😳. This is like hanging a carrot in front of a rabbit and then holding-it from the rabbit indefinitely. Aghast over that. Thankfully I was gifted this audiobook and will just need to put it away until there’s more audiobooks available. I was desperate and even looked into the books but they are expensive so I’m going to try waiting for the audiobooks. I really liked Sara. Despite have a really crappy few years where she was used, abused and made to feel like shit, I found her to actually be a strong female character, who had done her best to get away from the bad and start afresh, even if it meant taking a less than stellar job to get herself started.
