The latter issues, #183-191, which were originally Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller, Vol. 3, are much more scattered and contain some questionable stories. But, there's still innovation and the excellent issue #190, one of the best in the entire Daredevil run. Also collects Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #51. Matt only appears in #4 prior to Civil War II (2016) #4 Collects Daredevil (1964) #133-143 and Annual 4; Ghost Rider (1973) #20; Marvel Premiere (1972) #39-40; and material from Ghost Rider (1973) #19

The second major storyline collected in this hardcover is Frank Miller's 1993 return to Daredevil - the Daredevil: Man Without Fear 5-issue limited series. Miller, ably aided by John Romita Jr. serves up a dramatic and definitive retelling of Daredevil's origin, including his early encounters with the Kingpin and Elektra. This was the series that made me a Daredevil fan, so it's nice to see it collected in such a deluxe format. That said the art was well done here. And the story was engaging. I don;t consider myself a big daredevil fan. But, this starts out with him in Jail. Suspected and accused of being Daredevil. And then he gets thrown in to the general populace in an effort to either get him to defend himself and prove to everyone he is daredevil or so he will die. Of course several people he put in prison are there too. So it makes it very interesting. And this is just the start of all the story in this book. It's nicely long so you will have to have an hour or two at the least if you want to read it in one sitting.
