About this deal

There are only two downsides to this stroller for me, the first is the wheels. They are plastic and can be very rattly when going over uneven surfaces. Not that Darcie minds, I actually think she finds it fun to be bouncing around all over the place, but it can get pretty loud! This generally isn’t an issue for me as we still have our Xpedior for any country walks or if we know we are going somewhere with difficult terrain. I like that I have my cross country pram and my city stroller. The Oh La La Stroller is perfect for getting the bus, going around town, walking around shops and soft play and baby group trips, which is how we spend the majority of our time anyway. Also, now she is walking we tend to just let her walk around outdoorsy places and places like the farm. I couldn't recommend this product due to the above reasons. Although I haven't experienced any other similar lightweight pushchairs, I felt this one was definitely not worth it’s price tag and in general, I was very disappointed with the pushchair. My son was very agitated in it because he couldn't sit upright, but also feel the seating was not the comfiest for him. The positive was that it was very compact and I was able to get two pushchairs in my car boot. It would be OK for using if going on holiday and occasional use, but wouldn't recommend this for everyday use. This pushchair is so light – the perfect travel companion. It’s got a detachable bumper bar to make popping your child in and out easier, and the seat has an adjustable leg rest and good recline for comfy snoozing. It’s easy to fold – doing it with one hand requires some practice, though – and it’s very compact when folded. What they said:

The stroller is somewhat flexible when turning, but this has been made to be light and to nip around for travel. It’s not a bulky basic stroller made of overweight materials. We’ve had ours a month now and it’s been fine. It has a great hood that unzips and comes almost down to the handle bar- again great for holiday and sun protection. I have stairs leading up to my front door so getting in and out with this pushchair is a life saviour. Previously I was leaving my other heavier pushchair in the car and collapsing it and putting it together each time which was painful and tiring. It would prevent me from popping out of the house. Now I can carry the pushchair with the baby in it up and down the stairs, in fact many stairs. I am giving it 4 stars for that. The OhLaLa pushchair is extremely lightweight, which makes it ideal for lifting in and out if the boot of the car. It's very easy to fold and reassemble, which is helpful with a busy toddler and it saves a lot of time (and toddler tantrums!). The steering is very smooth and the pushchair feels easy to manoeuver when out and about. The pushchair was light and easy to put up and down and when folded down, it was compact and stored well. It was super lightweight and easy to lift into a small boot. The lightweight pushchair is perfect to put up when out and about shopping, which made my life easier with a five-year-old and baby. Ohlala, surprisingly lightweight, incredibily sturdy ... so light weight that you can lift even with one finger! Attractive and modern design, Chicco OhLaLa has been designed to ensure maximum comfort to both parents and the child. Easy to lift, easy to drive and easy to move, OhLaLa is the perfect for any mum." Tested by mum Rachel Foye for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Note that I’ve just bought a travel bag for ours as we got it for holiday- the folded dimensions of the oh lala 2 is 64cm high x 48cm wide x 36cm deep- not as per the text. indeed lightweight, yet easy to push around (and I do a lot of walking on not too greatly maintained pavements).

The Chicco Oh La Lightweight Stroller is a stroller that is both cute and colourful. Many parents who choose this stroller for their baby are impressed with the quality of construction and care that goes into the making of the Chicco Oh La stroller. With its simple design, the Chicco Oh La Lightweight Stroller makes a great stroller for a new baby. Mothercare, which has large stores in Torquay, Plymouth and Truro, has been the UK's number one retailer for prams, pushchairs, car seats, baby clothes, maternity clothes, nursery furniture, toys and gifts and has been a staple on the high street since 1961. Read More Related Articles This is very easy to open and fold, but I didn’t manage to do it with one hand. Because it’s so light, it’s ideal if you’re lifting it in and out of the car a lot, and it fits in the boot really easily. The shopping basket is a good size, but it doesn’t take much in terms of weight – a box of laundry powder made it give a squeak from the added strain! Tested by mum Kate and Albert, 18 months: This product is good value for money and I would suggest it to mums who have a budget, as it is a good price. It is very easily folded and can be stored in an upright position without falling, perfect for storage in a small hallway. It also folds down nicely to go into a boot. In my opinion, there are a lot of issues with this pushchair. The main improvements that I would suggest would to improve the quality and design of the fabrics and the seating positions. The most upright position needs to be more upright, as my baby was constantly trying to sit up and as said before, I had to loosen the straps and slip them off his shoulders so he was able to. The other improvement would be to introduce higher or adjustable handles for taller parents. Tested by mum Ashleen Cawley for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:nice harness, you can strap baby in safely, which was a problem with my old pushchair..couldn't strap baby in tight enough so he'd bend

The stroller folds up really simply and is easy to do with a wriggling toddler in the other arm, perfect for getting on the bus, particularly when it is busy. Any Mum who gets the bus will know the pain of waiting for a bus only for it to arrive and have no more room for prams, but this one fold up small enough that I haven’t had that problem since using it. It is also so lightweight that it is easy to steer with one hand, something that is near to impossible with a heavier pram. The Chicco Oh La also features a durable and easy to clean dual suspension frame that offers firm cushioning for your baby’s ride. Chicco has also designed the Chicco Oh La with a front and rear bumper that protects against nasty bumps and scrapes that may occur along the path of your walk. Chicco has designed the Chicco Oh La with a front canopy that can be fully opened during the hours of sunshine when the sun is shining bright. This allows you and your little one to enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about the elements.

Customer reviews

This stroller is very light, great for travel, takes up very little space, collapses down very small. This product is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre and the system used to fold the pram up and down is easy to use. The seat reclines well when my child is sleeping and it does not disturb them or wake them. The pram also has a canopy to help keep the sun out baby’s eyes. I wouldn't choose this pushchair to win a Mother & Baby award. Whilst it was extremely lightweight, it felt a little flimsy and like it would break easily. The quality of the materials did not seem to be high quality and the design didn’t excite me or make me want to use it.

I’m not sure I would recommend this pushchair to other mums. Whilst the foldability was very good, and it wasn't heavy like other push chairs I have owned, I felt the design was a little dull and boring. The colours didn't catch your eye and I feel the design on a whole lets the pushchair down, as it makes it look cheap. That said, my baby appeared to be comfortable when testing the pushchair on our walk. Anyone that knows us will know the battles I have had to try and convince Darcie that the pram isn’t the worst place in the world to be and using this new stroller that is less closed in has definitely been the best thing for that so far. Our previous pram looked comfier than this new one but I think the raised sides all around her made her feel more trapped which is the last thing that my little explorer likes to feel! The stroller fully reclines too so she can still nap when we are out and about, although that is becoming less and less frequent all the time. The troubled company announced earlier in November that all stores have started an 'everything must go' sale following news that all 79 UK stores will shut.I would make the size of the hood larger so that it protects my toddler from the glare of the sun, or for sleeping. I would also make the upright position of the seat more upright so that my toddler isn't slouching in the stroller – this is just personal preference and everything else is great about this stroller.
