About this deal

I flip my hair over, and I put gel in my hands with a little bit of water, and then I scrunch it throughout I don’t use prayer hands first. I will start one side of my head and scrunch it in around my head, then I will get more cream and start from the other side. With less curvature, like straight hair, your scalp’s natural oils can travel effortlessly down the hair’s shaft to keep the lengths and tips hydrated and healthy.

How to use: 1. Apply a generous splodge to hair, working through the lengths 2. Wait 3 minutes (or longer if you feel like it, but not needed!) and let the miracle work its magic 3. Rinse, baby, rinse! Step 2. This essential addition to your wash routine is complimented by the 3 Minute Miracle Calm the Frizz Deep Treatment. Apply a generous dollop to your hair after shampooing and rinse out after just 3 minutes, enough time to let the miracle work its magic. Say bye bye to frizz and hello to hair that’s so smooth it should be illegal. While naturally dry ends are a nightmare for the curly-haired of us, sometimes dryness is spurred by elements within our control – like over-styling. So, listen up! Cowash Conditioner– This is also called a cleansing conditioner. They are used to cleanse in between clarifying or shampooing washes. They work to condition but they are also formulated to remove dirt and oil. For more volume (if I’m feeling ambitious), I clip using these alligator clips. Here is a good tutorial on how to clip for more volume. I’m still trying to figure out the best method for volume.

I think it also helps that I’m able to enjoy my hair for more of the day. Often, my hair isn’t “ready” until just hours before I’m ready to go to bed after I wash it, so I only get to enjoy it looking good for an hour or two. And, because it often takes so long to dry, I often mess it up during the drying process, so it doesn’t look amazing. I recently bought this spray bottle for my water that has more of a misting spray, which I’ve heard works best. But I’ve really come to love my soft waves. It took me a while to accept that I didn’t have to have ringlet curls to have beautiful hair. I liked the coconut one, but it doesn’t seem to work super well, so on cowashing days, I primarily use the Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner.

The Curly Girl Method doesn’t have to be expensive! Here is my inexpensive routine and the products that I use as a wavy lady. All About Wavy Hair Beach waves for the curly-wurly of the group Woah there! Relax that curl. Time to turn those bouncy curls into a beachy mane of loveliness. It all starts at the beginning of your haircare routine: the wash. So, let’s break it down… As I mentioned earlier, as I started learning more about Curly Girl ideas, and as I spent more time in a couple of Facebook groups, I started thinking I needed lots of product. However, I have found that diffusing laying down is a total game-changer. Just lay down, throw your headphones in, and go to town listening to music or an audiobook.

There are many variations of the curl, ranging from a light wave to a spring tight coil. It depends on the curvature of strands as to where you sit on the curly-hair scale. Both of my sisters-in-law have had great success following this method, so I decided that since I suddenly discovered I do have a natural curl to my hair…why not try it out? step 4. Wrap small segments of hair around a hot curling tong for 3-5 seconds. Make sure to switch up the direction with every curl to secure that tousled beach waves look. Buy one product at a time. It can be very tempting to buy ALL. THE. THINGS. But you don’t need to. Just start with a CG friendly shampoo, conditioner, and gel, and go from there. One thing I’ve found with the CGM – especially for being type 2B – is that there are no commandments that you HAVE to follow. It’s important to find what works for you!
