In Asana's early days, the free Basic account gave you pretty much everything the app had to offer. Now it misses out on useful features including the timeline view, dashboards, custom fields, forms, rules, and milestones (we explain these features below). Free accounts also don't get start dates, task dependencies, progress view, or advanced search and reporting.
