The company only started working on its future expansion around the 1960's. It improved the quality of their products by building their own laboratories whilst still collaborating with other laboratories around the world, but this move effectively gave Puig more control over the development of their perfumes and cosmetics. It is a little known fact that there was even a collaboration with Paco Rabanne, which is when their first perfume factory was founded in Chartres, France. One of the later but also most crucial events to take place was the contract signing with Carolina Herrera to create and market all her fragrances. The success of this ultimately spread across the fashion industry which then saw the first of a long line of celebrities forming an agreement with Puig for creating their personal fragrances such as Antonio Banderas. This prompted further growth and expansion which lead to more celebrities and brand names such as Shakira and Comme de Garcons joining up with Puig. Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. We will Projection and lasting power not that strong, but that's appropriate if you consider it as an "aftershave" type thing. It actually lasts a lot longer sprayed on clothes. I'd love to try the vintage version sometime too to see if the (presumably real) oakmoss would come through. I would wear this when I'm in a manly, aftershave kind of mood. In fact I'd almost say this is the perfect splash on scent (almost, because I hate splash on). It just kind of fits with the feeling.

Antonio Puig is now an old and well-known perfume house with several distinct men's aftershaves and fragrances in their line-up such as the aromatically fresh Agua Brava (1968), the woody aromatic Quorum (1982), the spicy and floral Aqua Quorum (1994) and the spicy fresh Quorum Silver (2005) to name but a few. Agua Brava" is not good water, which people with poor language skills might assume. All you have to do is let them smell the scent of Puig - because he is anything but chaste or sweet. This Spanish men's classic has a lot on its tally. Which the woody, dark lid suggests.I still find it very difficult to use any aftershave for more than a few days in a row. I just like variety too much. But if I was going to choose one aftershave to be my signature scent, this would be it! Agua Brava' roughly means wild, rushing water, and so represents the Spanish translation of 'Eau Sauvage'. The fragrance was released in 1968 by the Spanish Puig Group and thus two years after the original Eau Sauvage north of the Pyrenees. The thought of a small name plagiarism is not far away. However, it is not a fragrance plagiarism, because both waters show only a distant relationship, although they are both beautiful. Agua Brava reminds me less than 'Eau Sauvage' of the "gurgling torrent" theme; this is more like a deep, dark forest; the reminiscences of Pino Silvestre that appear in some of the preliminary comments are no accident. In the long opening, however, I find the Agua Brava to be quite prominently masculine spicy. Prominently represented is a juniper note, which can certainly make you think of genever and other juniper spirits (this pithy note can also be found in Ginepro Nero before Erbolario). There are even more herbs and spices grouped around it, which are responsible for the austere and tart notes in the kitchen cupboard. Children usually don't like them because they are too bitter and somehow too unpleasant: Bay leaf especially, and sage, lavender, and clove, which I tend to smell as clove, also fit in here. But that never turns into a somehow warm-brown 'oriental' direction: everything remains clear, fresh, dark green, unsweet and dry.
