NO EXIT a gripping thriller full of heart-stopping twists

I LOVED the setting of this book, and it undoubtedly contributed to the chilling nature of this story.

Unfortunately, after a terrific start, there are many plot holes and inconsistencies that requires the reader to suspend disbelief. She breaks out of the facility in spectacular fashion to drive to her mother’s hospital, and that’s how she ends up where she does in the book: stranded at a rest stop in the mountains during a crazy blizzard. I’m hundred percent sure the book might be better as always but I’m still excited to give it a try even though 53 meta score is a little disappointing! This bold volume outlines the laws of power in their unvarnished essence, synthesizing the philosophies of Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, Carl von Clausewitz, and other infamous strategists.There are still some batsh*t, blow-your-mind, what-the-F*CK-just-happened crazy moments (obvi) featuring stars Havana Rose Liu, Dennis Haysbert, Dale Dickey, and Danny Ramirez in this thriller. While wandering around the car-park waving her phone in the air, desperate to get a signal, she sees . As I show her inside, I notice her eyes grow wide as she takes in our spacious hallway, and the big squashy sofas that we all used to pile on.

Sometimes I find this to be overwhelming and exhausting but I didn’t find that the case with No Exit. After Darby pulls the nail out of her hand and escapes the rest stop with Jay’s help, she has an interaction with Ash that results in him accidentally shooting Lars in the head with his nail gun, killing him. Without giving away the plot, Darby Thorne is on her way to Utah to see her dying mother, gets caught in a fierce blizzard in the mountains of Colorado. Sandi and Eddie are cousins heading to Denver for Christmas; Ashley is gregarious, handsome, and perhaps trying a little too hard to be sociable and funny; and then there's Lars, a rodent-faced mouth-breather who gives Darby the creeps.Update: I read and wrote this review in June 2017- I can't remember how I received the galley ☹️For unknown reasons, it looks like this little gem is just now widely published.

I can't get into any level of detail as to the culprit of the kidnapping - it's definitely spoiler territory.

We should be more careful about the little things as there is a chance that we will become complacent regarding them. The big reveal of Lars and Ash’s involvement — btw they’ve shortened the latter’s name for the movie and gotten rid of his weird attraction to Darby .
