About this deal

She is an expert on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow and co-hosts the popular BBC series The House Detectives, ITV's Antiques Trail, and Discovery's It's Your Bid. Among her other obsessions she numbered dogs, Scottish rugby and – above all – Bruce Springsteen: she travelled the world to see The Boss live. But by 1992 the marriage was over – although they maintained a united front for the publishing business. After a spell presenting BBC Two’s The House Detectives (1997-2000), in which she and a panel of experts “descend on ordinary houses to unlock their historical secrets”, she joined BBC One’s Antiques Roadshow in 2007 as an expert on Miscellaneous and Ceramics.
