I got this for 7 year old daughter for her 7th birthday as the age recommendation for this is 6 and up. Once finished it does look like MewTwo but we found that a lot of the pieces look similar but are different, identifying which piece to use next was actually quite hard.

Build bigger battles with this Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon that stands over 4-inches tall, and create a heroic stance by posing it in different battle-ready positions. My 6 year old got this for Christmas and we had to pull it apart after about ten pages because the pieces are so much alike!

Melding LEGO and Technic in the most ingenious ways, the build is especially challenging but rewarding, especially when you see the functions in action! It is a simple Pokemon in terms of design and anatomy and it’s done well, the tail stands out and the whole figure stands up well and balances nicely on the stand provided with no wobble.

She got interested in the Pokemon characters after watching the movie and Mew is one of her favourite characters so she wanted to give this a try.On the inside, you will find that the Mew model comes in small lego bricks that will require assembly, but fortunately there is a step by step guide provided that explains it very well. not the easiest task to complete with a 6yr old but he is mad for anything pokemon so I couldn't say no to him building it with me.
