About this deal

Will and her were back to being chums and no doubt more, although they hadn't quite gotten to professing it out loud. So when she got her memory back, there was nothing there, because what had attracted them to each other in the first place was gone. The only reason why I even picked it up was because of the lovely, lively and teenagery-looking cover. I've read some reviews on the subject of Naomi and James and I reluctantly admit that others are right about them. Because I was predisposed to notice Tegoshi (Mirai Hasegawa), he didn't feel invisible to me which might have been the case to other viewers who felt like Mirai Hasegawa didn't have much of an impact.

I missed her like a reflex, even though I knew that it was just some trick of my undependable brain. Gabrielle Zevin masterfully transforms a unique if kitschy premise into an intensely compelling exploration of identity. She’d get all his inside jokes, and maybe he wouldn’t be so frustrated with her for forgetting things she can’t possibly remember. Some doctors suspect that Naomi may be using the accident to suppress past trauma, but Naomi is not convinced. I have a thing for stories about memory loss and this is the fourth memory loss book I've read, the first being 'What Alice Forgot, then Remember Me?I felt that there was no hope for Naomi and James because he had to deal with his own inner demons before he could be free to love and be with a girl for the long haul. Important things, like her parents are divorced, her father is engaged to be married, she has a little sister, and that she has a boyfriend. Before I could do that, I had to get through City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, Clockwork Angel, Paranormalcy, and Supernaturally. It isn't perfect by any means, as sometimes the pacing is very slow and sometimes it's too rushed, but, overall, it isn't a big issue.

I believe that if Will had been more a part of the book, and we didn’t' only see him either arguing with Naomi or shutting her out because she didn't remember him, I would've been more pleased with the ending. You forget the names of all but one or two of your teachers, and eventually you’ll forget those, too. The premise is really intriguing-- the title alone made me pick it up, but I just dont think I could have hated it more. I can't imagine growing up knowing I had a sibling who refused to acknowledge my existence because she's a fucking bitch. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.not Rosa Rivera, but Naomi Porter) But, overall, most of what happened rang true, though possibly not all of it was completely plausible. Perhaps it wasn't important or necessary to put in, but in my opinion, if this was just to tell a story about a girl who lost her memory and of her getting it back, then I would have thought it would most certainly be important to slot in. The way humans have appendixes, even though they're pointless and mainly just a pain in the butt and people never even think about them unless they have to have them removed. It’s rare for books in this genre to have all of the hotness with none of the cheese, and Amnesiac is a shining example of how to portray teen romance in a legitimate, raw, and completely compelling fashion.
