About this deal

The stunts and fighting in this film are up there with the best Hong Kong offered in the mid-to-late eighties.

Action superstar Donnie Yen and Cynthia Khan team up with legendary martial-arts director Yuen Woo-ping in this fan-favourite fourth entry in the In the Line of Duty film series. In The Line Of Duty" stellt für mich die beste Zusammenarbeit zwischen Donnie Yen und dem legendären Jackie Chan - Entdecker Yuen Woo Ping dar. an average viewing experience, but what makes the film work is the presence and enthusiasm of its two leads. Cynthia Khan is just as impressive as Michelle Yeoh when it comes to carrying a movie, and delivering some stunning action.A couple of totally irrelevant but still kind of funny things occurred to me as I made my way through this collection. This is half stupid… one thing is to do new work with Bey Logan and I´m not into that because of what he is, but other is to use an archival commentary. JJ Bona on Jake Gyllenhaal goes full on Jackie Chan in the Trailer for Doug Liman’s ‘Road House’ also starring Conor McGregor Yeah, I never understood that.

As is often the case in Hong Kong movies though, some daft humour is thrown in now and again for good measure (including a bizarre, totally unnecessary scene featuring cameos from Richard Ng and Eric Tsang). As expected, they also get a little into Cynthia Khan and her career, even comparing her films to Michelle Yeoh and her previous ones. I’m going to believe someone who knew Logan personally for years and can verify what an abusive bully he is. Battling Babes Featurette (10:23) –this archival featurette looks at the various women in the Stunt world and their various experiences getting started and work done.Only weeaboos are completely literal and because of that hurt their own flow and confuse readers who aren't as knowledgeable about the Japanese language and culture as them. Some of the other details include a discussion of some of the realities of making an action film in HK; a discussion of the history of Martial Arts films; details about the stunt work done on In the Line of Duty IV – how it was some of the most dangerous looking stunts accomplished; and much more.

The arrival of the police saves Luk from the drug dealers but, with the innocent man found holding a gun, standing over Peter’s dead body, they assume he’s one of the criminals and take him into custody. This type of balletic fantasy fighting doesn’t necessarily lend itself to the brutal, pulpy hyperrealism of the In the Line of Duty series. The story of an Immigrant Seattle dock worker Luk Wan-ting (Yuen Yat-chor) accidentally gets involved with a drug bust gone bad.Light on its feet with lots of close quarters martial arts fight scenes, chases, stunts, and complicated car action, The Line of Duty IV is less reliant on gunfire this time around and much more interested in showcasing stars Khan and Yen who were at prime stages of their early careers.

including some great anecdotes about the production; how through her seven films how she never received a script; working with Corey Yuen and Mon Hoi as directors and their differences; working relationship and friendship with Michelle Yeoh; a great but very scary story about Dick Wei; and much more.Often overshadowed by other films in the series, In the Line of Duty III is the hidden gem of the franchise, featuring shockingly brutal and ferocious action sequences. Title prompts the various topics of the interview like Early Cinematic Influences, ‘Commerical’ Success in Hong Kong – meaning TV Commericals, working with Jackie Chan, training for Yes, Madam!
