All jokes aside though, the series is pretty enjoyable overall despite having many QUESTIONABLE moments. However, Charlie failed to remember what John told her before she 'died' at the hands of Twisted Freddy.The book closes with John at a graveyard at the graves of Susie, Fritz, Cassidy, Jeremy, Gabriel, Henry, and Charlie.

Jessica told John about how Carlton Burke had come back to Hurricane, Utah from his college in New York. Bound together by their childhood loss, John reluctantly teams up with Jessica, Marla and Carlton to solve the case and find the missing children. While still there, John told Jessica that Theodore had been repeating the message "Shining Star, Silver Reef" and asked Jessica if she knew what that meant. Carlton showed the spirits what William was about to do to Jacob and tried to remind them of the truth. Funtime Freddy began speaking loudly from a speaker in his chest to them and started hunting Marle and Carlton down across the maze.The remnant came from the Amalgamation on the table and, with the remnant still being of Michael Brooks, Susie, Fritz, and Cassidy, he awakes into a vision where he is back at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza with Michael.

Jessica was then forced to help Baby do surgery on William to replace his kidney and then was locked up with the children Circus Baby had kidnapped. Clay, while in the hospital bed, gave the two of them an envelop and told them they must have a maximum range. I’d almost say it makes no sense but you know, it is part of the fnaf franchise (🥁 <— that is supposed to be like the joke cue). Not-Charlie, seeming to know what John had done the day prior, grilled John about why he was at Silver Reef, Utah yesterday. While the last book played more on actual scary looking robots, this book played more on the fear of clowns and the fifth game.

I have read this series through twice in the original trilogy and now once for the graphic novel adaptation and honestly, some parts I still don’t understand.

Once they were all inside, Not-Charlie began wandering around as if inspecting the apartment and looking for something.Not-Charlie then began flirting with Carlton, trying to trick him, and then cornered him and tried to kiss him. As she moved closer, Not-Charlie transformed into Circus Baby and Carlton put the earpiece into his ear. Not-Charlie ignored this, simply replying that John had seen Charlie's dorm six months earlier that was much messier. While Baby was talking, Jessica managed to undo the ropes that pinned her to the chair and ran for the door. Clay also remarked about creepy all the clowns walking around town were and how weird the new Circus Baby's Pizza restaurant was.
