Although Tarot and scrying are different forms of divination, “Crystal Visions” has a double meaning in that it also suggests clear visions, which she thought was very appropriate to the Tarot. It definitely can tell the tale of a difficult and challenging story in your life, but at the same time, it's like having a friend by your side who will offer comfort, support, and guidance to get through whatever you're going through. The Unknown Card” is an extra image with a seeress in a gothic tower offering the viewer her crystal ball while a crow flies off with a glinting, crystal-tipped wand.

Of course, I don't want to leave you with the impression that this deck is filled with fluff and can't tell it like it is. The backs are reversible with a large opalescent sphere in the center which is surrounded by a filigree of rose vines and gems.

Formerly, she served as the Organizer of the Denver Tarot Meetup and Denver Tarot Geeks, and now runs the Greater Seattle Tarot Meetup. Set in an ethereal world of angels and faeries, dragons and unicorns, Crystal Visions Tarot subtly evokes the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith imagery. I purchased the Crystal Visions Tarot deck by Jennifer Galasso back in February and have spent my sweet time getting to know it.

The Cups cards feature violet and magenta backgrounds; the card titles are black on a pinky lavender bar.My favorites were the Hierophant with the pope sitting on a throne in front of a stained glass window adorned with different religious symbols; the eerie Death card with a ghostly figure standing above a seemingly dead female on a headstone; the mighty Emperor with his ram's mask and The Devil with a playful Pan like figure in the background trying to entice a naked woman who lounging by a tree with an apple in her hand (who is tempting who? The artist's "cool" and "warm" palettes make it easy to recognize the elemental associations in any given spread. Vanessa Tarot – I’ve look through this deck as well too, the cards came in a metal casing,kinda cool. It has been a while since I’ve discovered a new deck to add to my short list of professional reading decks.

Based on the traditional structure of the RWS (Rider-Waite-Smith) system of a 78 card deck, you will find the familiar names of the Major Arcana, the Court, and the suits: Wands, Cups, Pentacles, Swords. This nature-oriented deck is set in woods and marshes abounding with animals, flowers, crystals, and gems.Abundant trees heavy with fruit and frequent outcroppings of crystals provide a harvest feel for the Suit of Pentacles, while greens and golds feel warm and fresh in the glimmering haze of autumn. What I like best about this deck, and what makes it very unique is how the cards subtly lead you to explore the subconscious and activate your innate intuition. When I read the very informative Little White Book, I slapped my forehead in a classic Homer Simpson D’oh moment.
