At first, I was wondering how Wolff was going to fill this long of a book with them in the Lair, but it was so much more guys, so much more! es verdad que esta primera parte me ha dejado von la sensación de ser mucho mas introductoria durante toda la trama aunque si que es verdad que para nada aburrida, y creo que es bastante necesaria aunque se haga larga. They are forced to leave the happy farm life when the Shadow Queen starts looking for them (which at this point is a bit of a stretch for the story). Her prose combines the lyrical sense of place with a healthy respect the school’s buildings and grounds (as well as a clearly well-honed appreciation for an elegant wall treatment or a fabulous fireplace) with snappy dialogue and thrilling action sequences. I’ll give a short run down of the story without details cuz I can’t waste any more brain cells on this book than I already did. I do not know still reasons about Grace losing her memories or why certain events occurred, so I am hoping there may be something in the final novel. This finds expression in an obligatory, slow-burn sexual tension before anything like tenderness or love develops.

I really couldn't help it, this book was just as addictive as the rest of the series, and super easy to read/listen to. But, like a lot of other reviewers have said, you really do need to read this to fill in the gaps and actually appreciate the previous book. Yet here I am, stuck in a strange, dangerous place with the worst of the supernaturals, the monster that other monsters fear: Hudson Vega . Grace is wry, more than a little angry and self-aware enough to realise her life and experiences might often slot into at least one other popular YA franchise.
