As other reviewers have mentioned, the songs on this album are another set of classic Charlie Simpson tunes. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. In an exclusive interview with NME, he revealed that he "started writing it in 2019" and wanted to be "more stripped-back and showed my more vulnerable side".

He informed Virgin Radio that most of the tracks were written on the piano, rather than his usual instrument, the guitar. Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased.

Having sought refuge in the safety of his home-made recording studio during the first national lockdown two years ago, Simpson channeled any feelings of trepidation and anxiety he may have been feeling due to the destructive nature of the pandemic, into his music – adopting a fresh approach to his songwriting and exploring with a mix of new sonic sounds, by merging confessional lyrics with vocodered vocals and alt-pop synths, to produce his most personal, and profound work to date. The record is considered “relationship driven” and Simpson did the majority of the production side, building his own recording studio. All tickets will remain valid and of course if the the new dates no longer work for you, you will be entitled to a full refund. And although they convey a sense of sadness and regret in places, ultimately they are utterly uplifting and heartwarming.
