Like all BRIO track the joints are flexible and the plastic supports mean that the track can scoot around during use, so you eventually get a crooked coaster track that has to be pushed back into shape, but by and large it really does work as advertised. The 90’s era hopper cars tend to roll off the roller coaster ascension track, because they’re a little bit bigger than the cars the set came with, but I was thrilled since I didn’t know if they would fit at all. The roller coaster doesn’t exactly look “prototypical”, but it doesn’t look that out of place either. I was pleased that I could use the plastic curves that also came with the roller coaster in unique ways, since the set is rather expensive when I really just wanted the piece for changing elevation.
