I've also read the Hunting Adeline series she has, which is my top dark romance, I definitely recommend it if you can handle it. This is by far way lighter than the cat and mouse duet, with quite a few more sex scenes and a very chaotic and disconnected pair. I guess it makes me feel like I’ve found a friend in my lonely little world and will have someone to remember when I eventually leave.Still, I’d rather know if a little alien is invading my body than live in fear, obsessively checking my stomach on any reflective surface I come by just to see if it grew an inch. Simon will no longer distract me from my impending situation, and suddenly, I’m really dreading this ride alone. Lmaoo her character is actually really simple, she wasn't complicated, and I'm definitely admitting she's dumb, her decisions were awful, and she's attracted to danger 🥹 She didn't have interesting traits, but yeah she's stronger, and I would've liked it if she just told Enzo to fuck off more.
