The characters are loveable,Bad Nana is a true and proper legend,I have no words to properly describe just how fabulous she is.Easy reading and a stunning presentation - Jeanie is a brilliant narrator and has you chuckling along as she tells you all about her 'Bad Nana' - who in turn will have you hoping you're like her when you grow old! They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. but then it made some things like a whole page devoted to the contents of her hand bag pretty uninteresting as it wasn't exactly like she had a devil's totem or a pet spider or anything in there!
With no super powers other than maybe her ginormous handbag filled with rubber chickens, lemon sherbets and everything else besides, Bad Nana is ready to foil any authority figures attempting to leech the fun out of life. I thought this book was great 👍 I also think that even though it was amazing I just couldn’t give it a five star ⭐️ even though I did give it a four star 💫 Overall this is an outstanding book 📖 A little spoiler: BadNana does something a little naughty at the end ! Jeanie is seven-and three-quarters years old and lives with her mum and dad and annoying little brother; she also has three nanas, the best one being Bad Nana. Children of all ages could enjoy this book, but it is particularly suited to children around the same age as Jeanie.These cookies help provide information on metrics the number of visitors, bounce rate, traffic source, etc. I guess part of the point is that she's not exactly horrendous, she's just nice but naughty sometimes.
It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you. But if you, like me, grow weary of the TOTALLY up and down way of writing ALL THE words then you might just need to PUT DOWN the book and politely recommend it to people less easily affected. We enjoy her mischief, her opinions, observations, originality, loyalty, mischief, near downfall and admiration of Bad Nana.Veel leuke knalroze illustraties, niet al te veel tekst maar genoeg om een leuk verhaal te vertellen.
The illustrations and colour scheme are to die for, Bad Nana is hilarious and I felt a true kinship with her. But when Bad Nana's nemesis Mrs Farquar-Haha rigs the pet competition, Bad Nana is determined she'll set things to rights. was shortlisted for the AOI Illustration Awards 2014 and the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2015. So here's the thing: if you aren't bothered by shifting fonts mixed with highlighter pink everything?
Det är dock fint att läsa om vänskaper över generationsgränserna och för målgruppen (6-9 år) tror jag att detta är en mycket rolig och spännande bok. The kid is trying to tell you about their grandma and while the author is trying to assume the voice of the child perhaps they try a little too hard to ramble in about nothing.
