About this deal

Although the CG effects are largely indiscernible from those in the final film, it does not quite suit the mood of the piece, amounting to nothing less than overkill. We will introduce you exclusively to Newpay finance products provided by NewDay Limited under this Introducer Appointed Representative arrangement. A few of my attempts at playback failed unless I cleared my Blu-ray player's Persistent Storage beforehand.

com is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646). What’s important is the filmmaking technology on display here, much of it (by no surprise) the work of the effects team at WETA Digital – the same people who dazzled us all with The Lord of the Rings films. In a lot of cases, the CG visual effects are not quite as refined, the editing is blunt, and the new scenes disrupt the pacing of the story. It’s a blunt and grating approach to passing social commentary on the US and its ‘ Team America’-style approach to policing the world, and, this somewhat pretentious preaching, coupled with the Braveheart-styled clichéd dialogue and ‘rousing’ speeches did not work on any level. More so, the sounds themselves have weight and clarity—the dynamic range is expansive—and the mix is effortlessly balanced. Finally we get a new death scene for one of the supporting characters, a supposedly poignant moment where Jake honours his fallen companion. The following features are shared in common between the Blu-ray and DVD releases of the Extended Collector's Edition. While I didn't test this myself, I would advise viewers who fall into those categories to try it out before assuming that the DTS option is appropriate for everyone's needs. After he falls in love with the tribal elder’s daughter, his loyalties start to shift and soon Sully is doing all he can to find a peaceful solution without military intervention.

To us humans, it appears just as chaste as the original version, but I suppose that the bit where the characters connect the tentacles in their ponytails together could be considered the Na'vi equivalent of hardcore penetration. Well even if the extended cut wasn’t enough reason to double-dip, Cameron has gone out of his way to present his film here with the best possible selection of extras – not one but two packed extras discs within the package.

Most of the rest of the additions come in the form of added story arcs, rather than stand-alone scenes.

Pandorapedia – 449 pages of white text on a black background explaining every detail of the fictional world Cameron created. Now if we are to believe him, then there surely isn’t any room to accommodate a further 16 minutes of re-mastered Deleted Footage (each minute apparently cost a million Dollars to render and integrate), as is present on the Extended Cut.Additionally, it looks like this release comes with a digital copy and packaging features a slipcover. By using the color buttons on the Blu-ray player remote, you may toggle between raw motion-capture footage of the actors on a soundstage, the rough real-time "template" for the CG effects, and the completed version with picture-in-picture references to the other stages. And with Avatar, which he had been preparing for almost 15 years, he sought to push the boundaries once again, almost single-handedly bringing 3D into the mainstream, and paving the way for what seems increasingly likely to be the next level of film entertainment.
