She studied English Literature at Newcastle University before deciding to become a secondary school teacher, sharing her love for stories with a new generation of curious, young minds.

It is beautifully written and beautifully illustrated, with mini biographies long enough to give us the complete picture, but short enough to make it neat and concise. Ibtihaj Muhammad: the Olympic and World Champion fencer and the first American to compete in the games wearing a hijab. The people in this book range from both men and women of different backgrounds,ethnicities and professions. They deconstruct and translate daily feelings, conversation and intimate thoughts into self-published printed matter using Risography.

So inspiring and insightful, this book I feel is a wonderful opportunity to for Muslim and Non-Muslim readers alike to read about notable Muslims whom made their mark on the world. The biographies are clearly written and full of factual information alongside gorgeous illustrations. We were able to listen to the music of Cat Stevens when we read his story and have it playing in the background. The language used in some of the stories is aimed at older children but that doesn't mean that younger children can't enjoy it. Our mission is to inspire children to feel they can be and do anything, and to create readers for life.

At Books2Door, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill that every child should have to help improve their vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills. The last part of the book has exercises that will be helpful to young readers to remember the key ideas and other important lessons from the read. Some profiles were questionable - and many Muslims wouldn't consider them to be 'Amazing' but it seems like they were pushed by the Publisher and not the author.
