I would recommend getting a physical copy if you can because it’s a great book, but it is very hard to find, but it's worth having in your graphic novel collection. The Nightwing: Year One storyline was published from March, 2005 to May, 2005 in the comic book series Nightwing.There are, of course, nice moments--we get more scenes of the mainly undefined Dick Grayson/Barbara Gordon relationship, as well as a new "first appearance" of Killer Croc--an origin reconned out of mainstream continuity when Jason Todd lost his first, circus-based origin after Crisis on Infinite Earths.

It’s a great option for people who want more Dick Grayson without him being Robin, and it’s a very newcomer-friendly book if you’re trying to get into DC Comics characters that are associated with Batman, but you aren’t sure where you should start. Although, in small exchanges such as the one in the latest Infinite Crisis books between Wayne and Grayson, you catch a glimpse of the nostalgia between these two characters and an understanding. Things go wrong blah blah blah Alfred is dressed up as Two-Face and captured by Killer Croc and its not as fun as it sounds. It's a really sweet read, if you need cheering up and love the batfam then this is the one for you, it's definitely worth picking up.He then begins a circulation of the city introducing himself to his old allies and enemies, even breaking into Jokers cell at Arkham just to wind him up (and then leaving the door open on his way out). The last training idea was out of character, especially given how impulsive and poorly planned out it was.

My new fave thing lately is whenever Bruce decides to disguise himself (Bring back Bruce disguises 2k16. Once Dick begins to see himself in Jason, he can't help but laugh at the sheer audacity of anyone trying to steal the tires from the Batmobile--and it allows him to see what benefits Jason might have as Robin. I hope DC Comics will reprint Nightwing: Year One again, but for now, I’ll just be reading it on DCUniverseInfinite. Inevitably, Batman also ends up finding the next Boy Wonder who will end up facing Dick Grayson in a battle of ego.In the introduction to this graphic novel we are told that Dick Grayson served as Robin for 10 years, Batman is now onto his fourth Robin he must be almost 60! Case in point, they find a smooth way to work in the post-Crisis explanation for why Dick chose the name Nightwing -- but even that reasoning has been tweaked in recent years due to changes to Krypton's mythology. He also wrote many issues of Catwoman and Green Arrow , regularly having about seven titles out each and every month between the years 1993 and 1998.
