I do feel, however, that the dual themes could be a little confusing as the main character has such a fully pink shadow. I do agree with some of the other readers that pink and blue is a bit stereotypical, but that is how most of the society sees those colors so I don't mind those colors as much.

Not sure I like the pink/blue dichotomy, because it did feel like it was reinforcing the gender binary and thus undermining the central thesis of the text.
