Beautiful fragrance it very much has the Armani Code vibe going for it, it's warm it's sweet the vanilla in the base is beautiful, I had no intention on owning this until I saw it at a Ross and thought why not? For over 100 years, Montblanc has designed long lasting and essential accessories, writing instruments, watches and leather goods. It leaves an impression similar to that of Code Profumo or The One EDP--very much a designer fragrance; dark but lacking any seriously dark notes such as incense or birch tar; and sweet without crossing into gourmand territory. Legend Night is an amazingly silky sweet lavender cardamom concoction, with a green apple tangy essence and a very soft vanilla heart, altogether encompassed in a lovely patchouli/fir aura.

Reminds me a bit of Dolce and Gabbana The One (one of my absolute favorite colognes), but has its own character. You won't get the overly sweet nuances of such fragrances but stays away from the bitter dry smoky vibe of fragrances you normally think off for older crowd.At first I thought this was mediocre but the feedback I got honestly made me reconsider how good this scent was as not all my frags get this type of attention. The Legend Night Bottle, inspired by a fine liqueur, is an intense color cognac with contrasting black details. It's in the same sort of group as YSL's Nuit de l'homme, but as that now performs so badly, I'd say this is a good alternative. is a classic, pure floral-woody fragrance that will transport you to a place of serene beauty with its positive energy. The result is something that opens with a super synthetic green apple + bergamot accord that paves the way for the vanilin bubblegum heart.

If you're looking for more projection out of this just spray your clothes or maybe reapply later in the day. I gave the sample to a colleague who is always on the hunt for a good fragrance and his eyes opened wide after he sprayed it on, LOL! It reminds me a lot of (Herod) - Parfums De Marley And coincidently these frags have the same nose behind them both Olivier Pescheux.A less 'intense' version of Versace Eros, you can spray lots more on and not worry about offending ppl, it's a great winter office scent. Montblanc Legend Night breaks with the duality of the black and white codes of the house to leave room for an amber color, reminiscent of wood, authentic material par excellence. It's not bad but I prefer Eros and CH men prive as my two favorite affordable tonka heavy fragrances.

High notes consist of clary sage, peppermint, cardamom, and bergamot; mid notes consist of cedar, lavender, apple, and violet; bottom notes consist of black vanilla, vetiver, musk, and patchouli. From my brief time with the original Legend, I can say there appears to be little connection between the two other than the sort of feeling they impress in that of the smooth, widely appealing designer. Violet peeks through to add a touch of sharp, florals along with resinous pine/fir that keeps this going masculine. I don't love it, but I do like it, it is a good fragrance for temperate climates, in the spring and autumn seasons, for casual use, office work. After an hour the aroma remains vanilla, but now accompanied by some wood chord, with an aroma similar to that of walnut cream. This is very smooth and powdery in texture even though it has a fresh/spicey opening with the cardamom, fir and cedar. In the fragrance world very few times monikers make any sense, and this perfume is one of the most fortunate exceptions… “night” is exactly what comes to mind when I smell this fragrance… a very fun night out! The two are certainly not identical (Legend Night is sweeter), but they both cover the same occasions - and the gradient colors of the bottle even looks like The One, so clearly they were going for something similar.
