About this deal

I’m more harsh towards dark romances so I easily noticed all the plot holes and corny dialogue, but maybe that’s just me being picky. I don’t want to spoil anything, but there’s a scene that will literally shock you and make you fan yourself at the same time. We met the Hunter brothers in a Villain’s Lies, although they weren’t in the story for long they made quite an impact. The way he would take care of Alaska, worried and cared for her was cute 🫂 I loved his twin brothers Kyson and Kenzo moments! There was not a moment where I was not laughing gasping about some I was laughing about what happened I was gasping at some of the spice there was just absolutely everything that you wanted and it was just wholeheartedly a great book and I cannot wait to read books 2 and three and sorry listen to books 2 and three And I am just on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one.

trust me, so am i 😭 idk I just liked Zuko and his brothers cause they’re so damn funny, even when it’s unintentional. One of those men is Zuko and after he hears her talk, he immediately asks what her name is and of course she says her real name. For what the promo's I saw promised it just didn't live up to expectations, which is my fault I guess. Both Zuko and Alaska have a very messed up relationship, and Zuko has some strong kinks which include knife play.

This is a dark and spicy romance read with enemies to lovers, touch her and die vibes, forced proximity and is an HEA. With two extremely powerful lead characters with their crazy personalities, it had train wreck possibilities written all over it. Some of the others laugh, agreeing with him, before he smiles at me and says, "Cover your ears, Trouble.

This is about a strong independent FMC who works in a bar and has a secret identity as a phone sex worker. There are some possible triggers and the author does warn readers so take notice, I didn’t find them to be a problem though. For such a short story, the author really did an amazing job at writing it and getting the characters individual personalities down.Alaska and Zuko are a match made in heaven, the chemistry between the two was electric, I enjoy dual POVS and in this case it really adds to the excitement of the storyline, our MFC is a phone sex worker who strikes up an unusual relationship with the MMC, only ever speaking on the phone, they end up meeting one night at the bar she works in, she recognises his voice but he doesn't know its her I'M SCREAMINGGG!

It is well written and well worth a look if you like that batpoo crazy lust that these two characters experience falling into each other.

Zuko, one of the Hunters, knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to do whatever he needs to do to get exactly that. The writing was off, the dialogue didn’t always feel natural, and their personalities just couldn’t be nailed down. When a certain someone with a voice she could never forget turns up at her job what will become of this little flirty game between Sage aka Alaska and the ruthless Zuko?
