I bought CDNIM LE, L adventure, Pur Lui zebra, Montblanc explorer and iam looking for good Aventus alternative. I let the bottle sit for a week or so and gave it a shake and tried it again, and the experience was entirely different. And yes, I have nothing better to do with my time and money other than collect Aventus clones of varying quality. Im a woman so its not my taste I thought this would be a nice unisex fragrance but nooooo, so ended up giving it to my dad. The fragrance feels masculine, modern, playful, smokey, sporty, slightly sweet, versatile, woody, and somewhat pleasant.

The first time I sprayed L'Adventure, I was a bit surprised by the strong citrus/lemon scent in the opening. I don't anyone could reasonable confuse L'Adventure with Aventus during the opening--or for the first 20 minutes or so IMHO. After dining out in London for many many years I can say that I now only go to 5 restaurants and l’Aventure is my regular special one.
