The blurb leads you to believe this is a less misogynist Good Luck Chuck, but the curse storyline was ultimately insignificant. Emma needed to work on herself and I was beyond proud of her for realizing that she’d only become the person she hated the most (Amber) to Justin’s siblings if she stayed. Abby has the way of writing that evokes so much empathy her characters - you become so invested in their lives and feel all their emotions.
