After discovering that It killed his brother, Bill leads the Losers into the sewers under Derry to kill It. Another issue with the book that may sound completely bonkers to anyone who hasn’t read it involves a giant cosmic turtle. Director Tommy Lee Wallace, who admitted never having read the novel beforehand, seems to have this obsession with dramatic staging, the type you see in the theater with characters walking away from the action and looking far off into the distance in odd poses. As children they discover an ancient force which seems to come alive every thirty years and starts killing the children of the town of Derry, Maine.

Finding Georgie's picture and convinced that It is back, Mike proceeds to contact the others to fulfill their vow. The novel is huge and is able to cover a vast number of incidents and characters but the miniseries, despite coming in at over three hours, lacks this scope. Series 4: The salon's thriving, and Allie wants to expand and open her own hairdressing academy, bringing on a new generation of hairdressers. Yes, the rest of the show is mainly a disappointment but Curry as Pennywise is a real highlight and we can only hope that Bill Skarsgård can assume the mantle with the same degree of success. They are followed by Henry and his friends, Victor Criss and Belch Huggins, who are intent on killing them. With It finally dead, the Losers go their separate ways and move on with their lives as their memories of It fade away. What amazed me was that the children were extreamly good in there roles which is not always the case .I won’t go into detail as I don’t want to spoil it and it does make sense in an odd kind of way but it is wholly unnecessary. ES von 1992 ist für mich die beste Verfilmung, und diesen Film sollte man unbedingt mal gesehen haben ! Gerade das man weiß das hinter dem Clown (1992) eine große Gefahr steckt macht für mich den Horror aus ! Even though I had major problems with the audiobook of IT, it is still much better than the 1990 TV adaptation.
