Every character felt distinct, with their own determinations, flaws, and biases that were completely out in the open by the time the story concluded. Chloe is a wonderful protagonist, whip-smart, determined, flawed, but bold enough to be fully herself even in unwelcoming circumstances. i don't think anything i read is forgettable, but lately some of the ya books i read don't stick the same way. From our fierce, determined main character, Chloe Green, to the endearing side characters to the elusive Shara Wheeler, all the characters were so real.Now, I had every intention of reading it pretty much straight away, but alas, I was foolish, and, even though I had lots of time, I didn’t.
