Except, in this book, while Mathilde has the endearing naivete of Amy Adams’ character in Enchanted, she does seduce Guy using the tips in the illustrated erotica that the local witch gives her for inspiration.After three years under house arrest, she is keen to start her own life afresh, hopefully in relative obscurity. I also adore her heroes, who are grumpy, ill-tempered, and mostly follow the principle of ' I hate everyone but you.

On the upside this has made me want to go back and re-read Lenora/Garman's story, Fenella/Oswald's story, and Linette/Mason's story.Sometimes I felt I am feeling the connection with the book then it will disconnect due to some reasons. It has me excited for Sir de Crecy’s book and hopefully Ursula’s but I wish we had more time with the main characters.
