This stage takes around ten minutes to do and it does involve an Allen Key and some screws but literature guiding you through the steps is provided. However, if your display uses HDMI, then you’ll need either a “DisplayPort to HDMI” or “USB-C to HDMI adapter”. So I end up throwing USB's, Firewire, Ethernet, a Magic Mouse and a Bluetooth Keyboard into the mix.
If anything, I will manually crank up the fans with smcFanControl if I get worried about temperatures but this has not been an issue in my month of ownership.
