Glen Scotia offers a variety of expressions, both peated and unpeated single malts, including core range releases, limited editions and unique single casks. An elegant metal coin of the Glen Scotia entwined ‘GS’ logo is set into the shoulder of the bottle, which is presented in a display box ideal for collectors or gifting to someone special. We'll send them to be recycled and you'll save paper, carbon emissions and time at the recycling centre! Both tulip-shaped glasses, such as Glencairn glasses, and traditional Copita glasses are excellent choices. Matured in a combination of first and second fill bourbon barrels, then finished in PX and heavily charred oak casks, providing a rich layer of flavours. Our Double Cask is matured in the finest first fill bourbon barrels before being finished for up to twelve months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks producing this outstanding single malt whisky that provides the perfect balance of rich spicy fruits, overlaid with the characteristic sea spray and vanilla oak finish for which the house of Glen Scotia is famous. Now owned by the Loch Lomond Group, Glen Scotia offers a classic Campbeltown style with smokey, salty and subtly sweet notes.Be it with a special presentation box, bespoke dram glass or a set of tasting notes included - there are many ways to give whisky gifts from Glen Scotia to your loved ones. It has also spent some finishing time in sherry casks, giving the whisky body and spice, while the distillery’s proximity to the coast has also given the whisky a salty quality. Glen Scotia single malts are excellent examples of the Campbeltown style, with rich and complex flavour profiles that set them apart from other Scotch malts.

These two casks impart notes of spicy fruit and vanilla overlaid with the dank coastal notes that are synonymous with Campbeltown. Added to this is a distinct fresh woodsy tang from bourbon barrels, and a definite cocoa-y sweetness from the sherry casks too, especially noticeable on the finish. In 2022, our Victoriana was further named Best Scotch Whisky 2022 at the Online Scotch Whisky Awards 2022, and further Best No Age Statement Whisky 2022 in the World Spirits Competition. Since then it has changed hands several times,including a spell of ownership in the 1950s by Hiram Walker (who also owned Scapa).
