About this deal

The series being fantastic goes without saying (if you've never seen or heard of it, where have you been?

Only time will tell until the jury is out on that, but I regret to inform you that as beautiful as things look here on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc it doesn’t change the lackluster, unimaginative ending employed in Season 8. This 4K Ultra HD release includes over 15 hours of bonus features originally released on the 2019 Game of Thrones: The Complete Series and The Complete Collection (Limited Collector’s Edition) Blu-ray sets. mixes are very good but their Atmos ones really do elevate it - it does seem to really expand the sound stage.

The DTS mixes were also a bit more biased to the forward portions of the soundstage, but the Atmos sounds smoother and more balanced.

colors and kind of abstract representations of things like dragon's scales, stringed instruments or chainmail. Another thing that happened is that the Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection from HBO released in early November 2020. Extras: Language(s): English, French, Castilian, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Italian, Subtitles: French, Latin American Spanish, Castilian, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Croatian, Greek, Hebrew, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovenian, Turkish, Complex Chinese, Korean, Thai, Interactive Menu, Screen ratio 1:1.Presentation of the boxset is only Okay and mundane and while there are lots of extras, I don't yet know if there's anything new as I'm again absorbed by the storytelling. The important takeaway here is that HBO’s Ultra HD release absolutely improves upon the Blu-ray viewing experience. Since the episodes have been transcoded to UHD/HLG 50Hz I would assume that they will appear again, unless some contractual issue arose.

Today, we have millions of users a month from around the world, and assess more than 1,000 products a year. Those three discs are 1080p but still look good, and upscale very well on any decent Blu-ray player. One has to believe that will happen, but for now if you want to experience the complete series of Game of Thrones on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc, then you’re going have to pay to play here. It doesn’t sound like a mere television show, but rather the action sequences make this feel like a bombastic, summer blockbuster when fully engaged.By the time Season Four arrived, Arri was well established and fully-digital workflows were far more common. Right away, when you start listening in comparison to the Blu-ray, you notice a larger, richer, and more enveloping soundfield. The highlight of the features you DO get is the series of commentary tracks delivered by a variety of different cast and crew members. Game of Thrones: Reunion Special: A two-part reunion show shot live in Belfast with the cast, both past and present, hosted by Conan O'Brien and available exclusively on these complete series collections. The whole series was beautifully shot and looks stunning in 4k, it's a breath of fresh air after the dark ages streaming quality of NowTV.

We don’t know who exactly created Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection, and we enjoy the mystery, but they did a great service to fans of the show, fans of quality entertainment, and the cause of home cinema projectors. It’s easy to forget now, but Game of Thrones was the first hour-long HBO drama to be captured entirely digitally.Game of Thrones: Reunion Special (HD) – This is a two-part reunion show (57:01 and 42:21 runtimes) that was shot live in Belfast with the cast, both past and present, hosted by Conan O’Brien and was made available exclusively on the complete series collections last year on Blu-ray. And of course, you also get a Digital code for the series on a paper insert in the packaging, along with a lovely Episode Guide booklet. At least when the rears are actually used in anger, though, the effect steering is precise, and can deliver genuinely dramatic effects - such as the way the cawing crow that arrives on Bran’s window in episode three shifts position from the front speaker to the rear right surround as the camera changes its point of view.
