They’re certainly a lot more even in size than the various ranges from Xyston, and the sculpting isn’t far from their (very high) standard. For us the size difference was too great to mix FiB tanks in with similar units in our FoW games but as separate unique units they are fine. Forged in Battle features seven new subclass options that utilize Superiority die and martial disciplines. Each model was cleanly cast with a minimal amount of flash to clean up and the details were crisp and clear. A sizeable collection of new weapons, armour, gear, and vehicles adds more firepower to your campaign.

I also liked the fact that the packs came with a couple of command figures, usually two leaders, a standard bearer and perhaps a musician. I’ll add pics here and there throughout this post of the figures, starting with the ones I’ve painted so far (still on their painting sticks). In the first half of the book the attacks in nearby settlements and farms are described and in the second the siege. They are bigger than the PP figs I have but they are old sculpts rather than the newer ones which are bulkier I believe. As with Old Glory and Blue Moon, they come in fairly large packs (24 infantry, 12 cavalry, 8 camelry, 2 Elephants or large chariots, 3 small chariots), with a variety of poses.I don't have any Eureka miniatures, but here is a comparison between Plastic Soldier Company (new), Forged in Battle, Peter Pig and Plastic Soldier Company (old), FIB ad PP are French and British respectively, but that was what I had at the time, also PP reworked packs are slightly bigger that the originals, If I'm remembering correctly.
