For those of you who use IEMs as I do in summer months (headphones wear too hot), you are in for a treat for peanuts out of your pocket.I did find the sound a bit closed so I dialed in a low Q (2) 1 to 2 dB gain filter centered at 3 kHz. I personally prefer something less tightly braided so it’s smoother to touch but that’s my own obsessively small nitpick.

It doesn't offer much protection against drops or bumps but helps keep the buds from getting lost and prevents the cable from getting tangled.For this to happen, sound waves must resonate with your outer ear, which is impossible with a design that only engages your ear canal. The TRUTHEAR are the slightly more comfortable of the two, though, so they're a better choice for longer listening sessions. If you want a really fun IEM that is tuned to Harman Target, you can consider demo-ing this before making a decision to purchase. These are still iem’s and as such aren’t designed to shake your skull but definitely better than the Hexa’s wimpy bass.
