K but seriously, this was a really good book that left off on a cliffhanger and the second book doesn't release until May 19! Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. However while scrolling TikTok, a woman was talking about this book- something specific that happens in chapter one that I won't be repeating 😉🌶 THEN she said it just released on KU and I IMMEDIATELY ran and downloaded it.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good dark mafia romance. That cliffhanger was not something I expected, I can’t wait for the next installment and to see what happens next.

I feel like there could’ve been a little bit more character development, especially knowing this is going to be a series. I do love a good age gap romance and with a touch of darkness throughout this book kept me turning the pages. Even though there is an age gap, I didn't feel that in the maturity level, They are very much a par.
