It's performs disco's oldest trick, which is to conjure up happiness from a tiny kernel of melancholy. Within" is another slowed down track that has beautiful moments to it and I think that Chilly Gonzales' piano sounds beautiful here but it doesn't quite rate up with Daft Punk's usual ballad-esque songs. To celebrate this milestone this special expanded edition has been released including 35 minutes of unreleased music ( Demo and Studio Outtakes ).

Reading comments here that this release doesn't sound good, or inferior to other records people have - I'd really recommend triple checking you actually have this release.

This release pays tribute to late 1970s and early 1980s American music, particularly the sounds hailing from Los Angeles at the time. The 10th anniversary edition is expanded and includes a relatively modest 35 minutes of music, although these demos and studio outtakes are mostly previously unreleased (‘Horizon’ was on a Japanese CD and included on a USB stick in a previous box set).

Right from the get go with "Give Life Back To Music" you can see the intent the Daft boys have with this album, its got great melodies and groove, fantastic production and once again those infamous Daft Punk vocoders. The album was the French electronic music duo’s last and it includes the transatlantic number one ‘Get Lucky’ which features – and was co-written by – Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers (the pair also made contributions to another single, ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’).

We get asked 100’s of times every week for tracking numbers, these are usually a waste of time as they only tell you that the goods are progressing through the carriers system. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. Random Access Memories was the Daft Punk album that we were led to believe by an excitable media was pretty much the future of music rolled up in an unrelenting summer hit machine. After all the hype the album has been given, you would be surprised to see it even come close but boy does it blow any expectations out of the water!
