About this deal
This isn't possible with all binoculars because there are limitations with the closest focusing distance. You can always mount binoculars to a tripod for astronomy but this would not be very practical on the water. I only mention this to show a bit more of my background, as some binoculars that are great for astronomy aren't the best for daytime. Boasting 25% more light grasp than 50mm models there is a significant advantage for astronomy yet these are still practical to hold. They were very close compared to the sharpest of the group, though, and I doubt most people would notice any difference.
The 10x56mm model is a favorite among beginning and intermediate birders, since birds are easier to locate and follow in its wide field of view. The 10x56 model provides enough magnification for long-range sighting by day and casual astronomical observing around the campfire. Every other binocular I spent the whole time adjusting focus and diopter settings, trying to get that little bit more of "great" view. Celestron’s Nature DX 10x56 binoculars are the perfect combination of larger bright objective lenses with an optimum 10x magnification.Once everything is perfectly in focus and you are looking straight thru you will see that objects up to several hundred yards now `pop' in and appear dimensional. is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, register number 689922 and act as a credit broker and not a lender.
Where you might only see small handful of stars it will look as if someone spilled salt in the sky as you will see many many times more stars! The 10×56 model is a favorite among beginning and intermediate birders, since birds are easier to locate and follow in its wide field of view. Not sure why a few reviews say they are heavy and certainly not see this chromatic aberration at all. The 12x56 model offers the highest magnification available on a Nature DX binocular, so you can get close to your subject, even when you’re glassing at long distances.ED stands for "extra-low dispersion," which refers to the composition and optical properties of the glass used for the lenses. I bought a pair of binoculars as a gift but realised after I received them that they weren't suitable for the recipient. The binoculars are quite light, but not the lightest, so we were happy holding them up for extended periods.
