In terms of build quality, the Brawler64 is sturdily built, and it's clear that Retro Fighters prioritized durability when designing this product. The three prong build is visually interesting and nostalgic, but what Retro Fighters have done is great. It works flawlessly with NSO N64 games, correct button mapping, access to the suspend menu, home menu, etc. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of N64 expansion compatibility and rumble features. I initially purchased it to use for my first playthrough of Goldeneye 007 but since I have found it to be a great choice not only for N64 games but also SNES, Genesis, and even Dreamcast games!

Has anyone noticed how lots of big name YouTubers push this controller while it's not even very good? I love N64 either way but remarkably this has given it even more appeal now and I'm certain I'll be putting more time into it as a result. Plus, there are no scarcity issues like with the official NSO N64 controller, which is definitely a good thing!My one and only thing I dislike is due to the form factor, the A/B button are where a right stick normally is, so my thumb doesn’t naturally rest there.
