You settle your differences by shooting each other until the other person is dead, like gentlemen (or women; the bullets aren’t discerning). The strategy in this game isn’t really in what you roll, but how you sell it to the other players, doing your best to convince them that it is in their best interests to be shot by you. They're color-coded and overall quite easy to read; they're also helpfully repeated on some of the character cards to clarify special abilities.

It’s almost impossible for board games because there’s relatively little real critique out there, and what exists is constantly drowning in a sea of releases that can’t possibly be navigated. For players for whom total blindness must be considered, this information is not otherwise available. The theme makes sense with the gameplay and overall it makes the game very accessible which means, coupled with the relatively short play time, it is a lot easier to get to the table.Briefly amusing with a social cost for playing that can’t really be at all justified in comparison to what its required player count would otherwise let you do of an evening. This is a game you can bring somewhere and teach everyone with low effort, and it’s not a stressful enough game that they’ll hate you during or after it ( Avalon). The popular card game of spaghetti-western shootouts becomes a press-your-luck dice game, retaining all the hidden-role hilarity of the original!

The Renegades can either help or hinder this process but can only win if they're the last man standing ending in a showdown with the Sheriff. The basic Yahtzee formula for die rolling has been left essentially unchanged for a few decades now.It’s not interesting enough in any one facet to compensate for the unsatisfying way it all comes together. The only thing that Bang is going to give you that these other games don’t, and better, is the dice… but dice just don’t work in this kind of game.
