You can tilt it to reach the corners if there's furniture in the way, and if you have to move it to reach all of them you can align the Meazor to its new location by rescanning a couple of the corners you've already measured – or so the manual claims. Pythagorean – This allows determination of the third side of a right triangle based on two measurements. Putting it on a tripod is key, because while it's not flimsy, the Meazor isn't substantial enough to hold steady. The one other benefit of this mode is that it uses the rolling wheel to take the measurement, so if you set the scaling ratio to 1:1, then it will just report the length based on how far you rolled the device. First, you are using the rolling wheel to take the measurement, which is very inaccurate since you are eye-balling the starting and ending points.

But considering that it might be time for an upgrade, I jumped at the chance to try the MEAZOR 6-In-1 Compact Laser Measure tool made by Hozo Design. Taking a measurement is also somewhat involved: you swipe in the middle of the touchscreen to pick what you want to do, then swipe at the bottom to change any settings.
